OUR PURPOSE
Governments globally have set ambitious plans to decarbonise their energy systems, replacing fossil fuelled generation with clean renewable sources such as wind and solar. The widespread distribution and intermittency of this new energy generation means we must provide energy storage to balance the grid, absorbing power when it's plentiful and supplying it back at peak times in a cost effective way.
RENEPOWER has committed to building a portfolio of technology driven storage assets to support this energy transition on the journey towards net zero. We help enable the integration of more renewable energy generation to the UK's electricity grid using battery storage and other clean technology vectors.

RENEPOWER is developing a portfolio of battery storage assets ranging from 5MW to 35MW across the UK. The first construction and operating site is due to commence in 2024 with a long term roadmap to follow. In addition, the team has provided origination and advisory to non-competing clean energy developers & investors. This has included Solar, EV charging and green hydrogen sectors.

LANDOWNERS
If you are a landowner with land surrounding or in immediate proximity to an electricity substation, we want to hear from you. Leasing land for an energy storage project provides an excellent long term income stream with no costs incurred by the landowner.
